Kerstin Möller (K-Moll) and Phạm Minh Đuc (C-Duc) invite the audience to partake in an artistic listening exercise. Their collaborative performance Matineee brings together classical piano school and electronic music, drawing on aspects of a “culture of failure” and contemporary liberal club culture. In doing so, the artists investigate underlying societal conditions framing notions of belonging, entitlement, and culturalisation by merging together marching rhythms, electronic beats, and experimental noise.
