Prater Galerie regularly invites school classes to visit, thereby becoming a space for creative expression and experimentation. Accompanied by an art mediator, participants explore the current exhibition together. They ask questions, share observations and gain a variety of experiences. Selected materials provide children and teenagers with the opportunity to interpret and reflect on their experiences through their own artistic work. The programme includes a variety of activities, from individual small-scale works that are created right in front of the originals, to collaborative projects, performative interventions, and explorations of the space.
The workshops generally take place in the morning, outside the gallery’s regular opening hours. The start time and duration can be arranged flexibly.
The events are free of charge.
