As part of the learning and engagement programme accompanying its exhibitions, Prater Galerie offers events and workshops for older adults.
Under the motto Getting to Know Art and People, the programme combines a dialogue-based guided tour with an informal discussion over coffee and pastries, seated comfortably together. Questions are opened up to the group, such as: What is art? How does art find its way into a gallery? Why are we moved by some works, but not by others?
Gatherings usually take place on Tuesdays, outside the gallery’s regular opening hours. The start time and length can be arranged flexibly.
The events are free of charge.
