For the opening, we present the exhibition Courage: Sisters in Spirit featuring works by Yevgenia Belorusets, Christa Jeitner, Magdalena Jetelová, Lesia Pcholka, Luise Schröder, Gundula Schulze Eldowy, Natalia Vatsadze and Eva Vent.

The exhibition Courage is part of the ifa’s exhibition series Publik Machen.

Masha Qrella

Masha Qrella, born 1975 in East Berlin, is a singer, songwriter, and composer. As co-founder of the bands Mina and Contriva, she shaped Berlin’s post-rock scene in the 1990s before turning to her solo career. Blending indie, electronica, and experimental sounds, she tours internationally and writes music for film, theater, and radio plays.

HakkaMoon

HakkaMoon is an artist collective composed of designer and artist Miriam Neubauer and chef James Hoi Yeung Chan. Their practice focuses on the intersection of art, biology, and food with a planetary perspective.

Anke Lucks

Anke Lucks is a trombonist and composer. After studying at the HfM “Hanns Eisler” Berlin, she toured internationally and today performs in a wide range of formations — including the Insomnia Brass Band, which was awarded the German Jazz Prize as Band of the Year in 2023.

Ruth Schepers

Ruth Schepers is a composer and multi-instrumentalist on flute, clarinet, and saxophone. As a bandleader and side-woman, she moves through the world of jazz and improvised music with curiosity and an open spirit.
