As part of the exhibition Spitzen Rauschen, the Pforte and Victoria Sarangova invite you to a lecture performance and a walk. Sarangova returns to the material she gathered around the Ernst-Thälmann-Park: voices, sounds, recordings — and gives it a new shape for the afternoon: a performance of sound and speech that opens up her way of working.
Where does domestic space begin, and where does it end? What happens in the passages between a flat, a neighbourhood and a public space carrying its own historical layers?
The installation in the Pforte takes up these questions from within, and the walk carries them outside. With every stretch of the route, the shifting tones and sounds grow into a sound piece of their own. The domestic keeps echoing outward, folding more and more into the public.
At the end, everyone is welcome to a small picnic in the park, to share what was heard, seen and felt.
Meeting point is the Pforte. No registration required.
