Kerstin Möller (K-Moll) and Phạm Minh Đuc (C-Duc) invite the audience to partake in an artistic listening exercise. Their collaborative performance Matineee brings together classical piano school and electronic music, drawing on aspects of a “culture of failure” and contemporary liberal club culture. In doing so, the artists investigate underlying societal conditions framing notions of belonging, entitlement, and culturalisation by merging together marching rhythms, electronic beats, and experimental noise. Kerstin Möller is a multi-disciplinary artist and urban sociologist. Her works address extreme emotional states experienced by urban inhabitants, as well as the affects of climate change, in particular in the circumpolar Arctic and Sub-Arctic. Phạm Minh Đuc is a performer and visual artist. In his work he investigates intergenerational trauma and an awareness of the relationship between space and belonging.

Nguyễn + Transitory, composed of Nguyễn Baly and Tara Transitory, work mainly with modular synthesizers, magnetic tape and site-specific interface design. In their performances, Nguyễn + Transitory allow sound to take shape in a located and embodied way. Through this immediate and site-specific process, they work with and beyond hegemonic habits of looking and hearing. Frequencies generated by the synthesizers resonate between the bodies present and the surrounding space, touching on the artists’ memories, stored emotions, and collective catharsis. In 2020, Nguyễn + Transitory created the work ‘Topography Of Vulnerabilities #3’ for Prater Digital. Prater Galerie is delighted that the duo will return to open ‘gegen\archive: wer bleibt wo’ with a performance in ACUD Club.

Kerstin Möller (K-moll) và Phạm Minh Đức (C-Duc) kính mời quý khách tham gia một buổi luyện nghe âm nhạc nghệ thuật. Màn diễn đôi Matinee là một gặp gỡ của trường phái dương cầm cổ điển với nhạc điện tử, của “văn hoá lỗi” với văn hoá club tự do. Trong sự xung đột này, các nghệ sĩ nghiên cứu về những điều kiện chung của sự phụ thuộc, sự đòi hòi và sự văn hoá hoá qua sự hoà lẫn của những tiết tấu hành khúc, nhịp đập điện tử và thí nghiệm âm thanh. Kerstin Möller là một nghệ sĩ đa ngành và là một nhà xã hội học đô thị. Công việc của cô nghiên cứu về các trạng thái cực đoan tình cảm của cư dân đô thị, cũng như về những hệ quả của vấn đề thay đổi khí hậu, đặc biệt trong vòng Bắc Cực và Cận Bắc Cực. Phạm Minh Đức là một nghệ sĩ trình diễn và là họa/ nghệ sĩ. Trong những tác phẩm của mình, anh nghiên cứu về những tổn thương giữa các thế hệ và sự nhận thức của quan hệ giữa không gian với sự phụ thuộc.

Nguyễn + Transitory (16:15–17:00 giờ) | ACUD Club

Nguyễn + Transitory, là Nguyễn Baly và Tara Transitory, làm việc chủ yếu với đàn synthesizer mô-đun, băng nam châm và thiết kế giao diện theo từng địa điểm. Trong những buổi trình diễn, Nguyễn + Transitory cho phép âm thanh tiếp nhận theo quy trình kiểu tại chỗ và qua cơ thể. Với phương pháp tức thì và tại chỗ này, họ làm việc cùng và vượt qua những thói quen nhìn và nghe mang tính cách bá quyền. Những tần số được tạo từ những synthesizer cộng hưởng giữa những cơ thể có mặt và không gian xung quanh, chạm vào những ký ức của nghệ sĩ, cảm giác lưu giữ và sự tẩy (carthasis) tập thể. Năm 2020, Nguyễn + Transitory đã dựng lên tác phẩm Topography of Vulnerabilities #3 (Địa hình của sự thương tổn #3) cho Prater Digital. Đội ngũ của phòng tranh Prater rất hân hạnh có được cặp đôi này trở lại trình diễn khai mạc chống lại\lưu giữ: ai ở lại đâu tại ACUD.
