Do you still remember a convivial afternoon in the Pratergarten, an entertaining evening at the theatre in the Pratersaal, or an interesting exhibition at the Galerie am Prater? Is there a thrilling boxing match or a spectacular show at the open-air stage that has stayed with you?
Just as the Berlin Prater’s programme has always been diverse and vibrant, so too are the memories people hold of it – each one unique and personal. To ensure these one-of-a-kind stories are not lost, we would like to collect and publish them in our online archive Vom Prater aus. We warmly invite you to contribute your own experiences to this living archive in the form of texts and images.
Join us on 22 April 2026, between 4 and 6 pm, at the Rosencafé of the St. Elisabeth-Stift for a brief historical introduction followed by an exchange of memories about the Berlin Prater. Bring along your photos, postcards and flyers from back then – we will scan them and archive them together with your stories.
