On April 10 at 5 pm, we will visit the artist collective Club Real in their garden in Berlin-Wedding. There, we will gain insight into the political system of Organisms Democracy, in which all living beings are citizens with equal rights and the same entitlement to political participation. In this way, the group aims to open up the possibility of enabling a shared and just life for all species through a fundamental transformation of politics.
This year, Club Real will be part of our exhibition series Ecosystems of Care in the former gatehouse on the cultural island of Ernst Thälmann Park. Together with local residents, the collective is creating an audio walk for the park, giving voice to its various living beings. For the first time, the diverse history of this place will be told from the perspective of the plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms that inhabit it.
