Prater Digital Galerie

The digital gallery is a three-dimensional replica of the Prater Galerie. It is available to the curators and the artists of the gallery to hold exhibitions there or to supplement physical exhibitions in the virtual. The room is also available for cultural education projects and for workshops and discourse formats.

Julian Kamphausen

Artistic Director of the Pilot Phase (2020-2021) As a member of the advisory committee, Julian Kamphausen has worked together with the Director of the Art and Culture Department, Tina Balla, to develop and advance the project in the spirit of the outcomes of the advisory committee’s work.

Gloria Schulz

Programming and Digital Creative Producer Gloria Schulz is a digital artist from Hamburg. Gloria Schulz (she/her) is a digital artist from Hamburg. She is a founding member of the artist collective »Blutende Freischwimmer*innen«, feels most at home in gray windows and, as a visual hacker, explores immersive illusory spaces. She is Creative Producer and Technical Artist at NODE Forum for Digital Arts and founder of the Studio für unendliche Möglichkeiten.

Prater Digital is a project of the Department of Art and Culture oft he District Authority of Pankow. It was developed and realized in collaboration with the curator Julian Kamphausen and the advisory board on the future of Prater Berlin with Berrak Nil Boya, Gloria Schulz in cooperation with Mark Coniglio (Troikatronix) and the digital.DTHG, with the support of the course “Spiel && Objekt” of the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch, Ricardo Gehn (OutoftheBox), Performersion, as well as representatives of numerous cultural institutions. Prater Digital is funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe and implemented by the Technology Foundation Berlin as part of the kulturBdigital program.

Prater Digital was sponsored with funds from the Funding Guideline on Digital Development in Culture (“Förderrichtlinie zur digitalen Entwicklung im Kulturbereich”) of the Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
